Collaboration
One of the joys of being a small business is working with other local craftspeople, artisans and small businesses. This not only keeps down our carbon footprint, but we love supporting local enterprise and the symbiosis that comes from working with like-minded, creative people.
As we develop these collaborations, it will be reflected in a growing range of products and materials and keep us busy updating the website!
Product Information
Acrylic is a strong, food-grade material with good aesthetics and a wide range of uses. Please refer to our product information
page for more information about using and cleaning acrylic.
Using Chalk Pens
Chalk pens can be used to write on acrylic, for example to write your own menu options, labels or signs.
We are currently testing the best pens and cleaning methods so that we can pass on recommendations to our customers.

As our ranges are available in different sizes, colours and styles, it is difficult to give a single standard price for a product. However, we do have a pricelist for some of our more common products which we can email to customers if applicable.
For other products, please contact us
to discuss your ideas and requirements and we will provide a detailed quote.
New customers are asked to pay in advance on a pro-forma invoice.
All our prices are subject to VAT at the standard rate.
Timescales
As all our products are made to order, we will let you know lead times for completion and delivery, once your design has been finalised and you have confirmed your order. We generally quote 2-4 weeks but this will vary with the size and complexity of your order, with smaller orders sometimes available in less than 2 weeks.
As with all business, there may be unforeseen issues that affect timescales, but we will always stay in touch to update you if there are any problems.
Delivery
We usually send completed orders by over-night courier. The cost of this will be added to your order and will be notified to you as part of your quote.

to ensure that we can ship to you.
Our Passion
We simply love trees!! We're surrounded by them at home and our rural workshop means we're never too far away from them. Now, more than ever, we are eager to leave a legacy, that helps our beautiful planet continue to breathe.
Planting Trees
We are in conversation with a local conversation group and national charities about funding the planting of trees, so that each year we can know that Kainon has supported new trees. We can't think of a better by-product for our business and will update the website with more information once trees are being planted!
